    Hi there.  Just purchased and installed your theme and still getting to grips with it.

    Can you possibly explain what is the difference "Default template" and "Robin Posts" when creating a new page?

    Also, am I right in thinking the Header style has to be the same on all pages or is it possible to have one Header style on the front page and something different on, say, Blog posts?

    And finally... is there any documentation published on the different options available (might save a few questions here!)... I have installed the demo data but it's still a little tricky working everything out by trial and error ;-)

    With many thanks in advance.

    Hi Nik

    1) The default template: http://www.burnhambox.com/robin/about/

    "Robin Posts" template just ignores the page content and display the blog posts (like blog homepage). This is useful when you want to display your posts on a specific page. WordPress itself has already got this option by default (Settings > Reading > Front page displays) but sometimes our customers are asking for "customized posts". I mean, maybe you want to display the posts in a specific category on a page. Then you can customize this template as you wish and use it.

    2) Yes, you're right. Header style is global and same on every page.

    3) You can find a couple of articles over here: https://burnhambox.ticksy.com/articles/100001350

    And we got one to make your site the same with our demo site: Demo Content for Robin

    Please let us know if you have any other questions

    Thank you so much for your prompt response and that all makes sense.

    Two more quick questions for now...

    5.  Slider settings... what slider does this refer to?  Can you only have one on the site and where does it appear?  is there an example on your demo site?

    17.  Banner management... what does this refer to?  And what would one put in empty boxes eg. 19.1?  Is there an example on your demo site at all?

    I think that's all for now... I promise I'm a fast learner and will probably end up tweaking my own css/php at some stage but must admit that so far I don't seem to have needed to.  I'm impressed ;-)

    You're welcome

    It's the one on the blog homepage: http://www.burnhambox.com/robin/

    You can create sliders as much as you want, but you can display only one of them, on your blog homepage. Please have a look at to this article for more information: How to Use Robin Slider

    Demo site has no banners those use the Banner Management, but it's the same system with our Hunted theme: www.burnhambox.com/hunted/

    And here's an example banner code to use in the fields on your customizer:

    <img src="http://www.burnhambox.com/hunted/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/hunted-banner-ad-2.png">

    Usage on your customizer:

    Glad to hear that you're happy with our theme so farPlease do not hesitate to ask anything when you need. By the way, if you find some time, could you please be so kind to rate us on ThemeForest? Go to your "Downloads" section and click on the stars over there!

    Thank you again... one more question... can you tell me how you have achieved the slider/carousel with the images at the top of this page -

    http://www.burnhambox.com/robin/2017/01/06/post-11/

    ... when I create my own "gallery" the images are all shown together in a single row on the page...

    Hi again

    Please go to "Appearance > Customize > 9. Post Format: Gallery > 9.2. Gallery Position" and choose "Instead of Featured Image".

    Hi there

    When I have my home page set to a static page rather than blog posts, it seems that it shows the same sidebar as all the other pages ie. if I enable "Sidebar - Page", this will show on the Home Page too.

    Is there any way of forcing a static home page to display the same sidebar as it would if it were set to blog bosts?

    With many thanks in advance.

    Hi Nik

    You should do a small customization in page.php file for that. Please go to "Appearance > Editor" and open page.php from the right hand side. Then look for the line below:

    if ( get_theme_mod( 'brnhmbx_robin_ExtraSidebar_Page' ) ) {

    Replace it with the line below:

    if ( get_theme_mod( 'brnhmbx_robin_ExtraSidebar_Page' ) && !is_front_page() ) {

    Save the file and you it should be OK now.

    Thank you... I'll give that a go.

    I do have just one more question... is there any way of moving the sidebar from the right to the left hand side of the page?

    With many thanks again.

    You're welcomeUnfortunately moving the sidebar needs additional customization which is beyond our support limits.
